November - “Hunger has No Place at this Table”
This month’s theme is Give.
Winston Churchill said it best “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” The most important thing to remember is that what you give can be so many things - kindness, love or even just a simple “Hello.” You do not measure what you give in dollars and cents, you measure it by the meaningful intent of what you do.
Exciting Events coming:
Nov - “Pack the Pantry” – We will give hunger a hug by donating food (packaged or prepared) to local pantries, soup kitchen, missions, shelters, churches, etc.
“Serving Up Hope” – Tues, Nov 18th, we will go as Bellas to St. Paul’s Soup Kitchen – Lowell to serve a meal; this year we will supply the meal.
“Bella Blessings” – We will get together to count our blessings….each other!! It is certainly something to be grateful for. We could do it after our serving at St. Pauls’ kitchen and/or another day.
