Good Deeds Upcoming Events
“Garment Giving” – Get ready to do some “spring cleaning” in your closets and help others do the same. Let’s ensure others know the warmth, comfort and confidence a piece of clothing bring. We will once again support the amazing work of “Uncommon Threads” and “St. Paul’s Soup Kitchen” both are in need of gently worn clothes for women and men, respectively, to help their communities.

Flower Power - March 2025
Mar 2025 “Flower Power” – Our Good Deed “Flower Power” for our March theme of “A Hand in Healing” was a BIG success. We gave bouquets to Winchester Hospital in Reading, MA and huge kudos to Diane Donate who spread the cheer further to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Cape Coral in Florida! We directly impacted people’s hearts and to those around them, bringing smiles to patients, staff and others in the patients’ support circle. We delivered 70 bouquets earning us 3 Good Deed Hearts!
Wrapped in Love - February 2025
Feb 2025 “Wrapped in Love” – Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children 0-18 in the United States who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need it. This one truly touched a lot of our hearts and inspired us. We made 88 blankets earning us 3 Good Deed Hearts!
Viva Las Winton - January 2025
Jan 2025 “Viva Las Winton” – On Sat, Jan 25th, we supported the Winton Club and their mission to raise money for Winchester Hospital by attending their third annual Casino Night FUNdraiser event at the Woburn Country Club. A few of us did a little pre-partying before then we all rolled the dice, flipped some cards and spun the wheel for some good times. A few of us came home with some silent auction items we bid on while singing and dancing up a storm!! We had 10 Bellas & Friends attend earning us 3 Good Deed Hearts!
Christmas Caroling & Holiday Cheer in the Air - December 2024
Dec 2024 “Christmas Caroling & Holiday Cheer in the Air” – On Sun, Dec 15th we went to the Brightview Senior Living Center in Arlington, MA. We did some caroling, played some Xmas trivia, brought yummy fresh baked treats and took some fun holiday pictures songs; but the best part was bringing some joy to folks who may not have the opportunity to spend the holidays with loved ones. We had seven singing Bellas earning us 3 Good Deed Hearts!
Pack the Pantry - November 2024
Nov 2024 “Pack the Pantry” – We gave hunger a HUGE hug by donating food (packaged or prepared) to local pantries, soup kitchen, missions, shelters, churches, etc. Our generosity never ceases to amaze me!! We donated 385 items earning us 3 Good Deed Hearts!
Serving Up Hope - November 2024
Nov 14, 2024 “Serving Up Hope” – We shared in bringing hope to others by helping to prepare and serve a meal at St. Paul’s Soup Kitchen in Lowell, MA. We all agreed it was such a small act of kindness giving just a few hours of our time but felt like the most impactful we had ever done. Four of us volunteered earning us 1 Good Deed Heart!
Breast Cancer Walk - October 2024
Oct 5, 2024– Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Boston – The BellaDonnas’ Team had 11 walkers who did 5.5 miles!! And MANY, MANY, MANY supporters who helped us raise $ to fight cancer. We raised $6,728.38!! (Diane Donato raised $2,554.05 and Donna Burke donated $500 - Woo Hoo!) earning us 3 Good Deed Hearts!
Feels Like Home - September 2024
“Feels Like Home” – We helped others have a sense of home. We donated “gently used” or new items for the home (towels/sheets, candles, kitchen items, frames, cleaning supplies, furniture, lamps, paintings, etc.) to our Local Shelters, Salvation Army’s, Churches, Missions. Together we brought the heart into the homes of others. We donated 576 items (Deb Sullivan donated 208 items - Woo Hoo!) earning us 3 Good Deed Hearts!
Fill the Bus - August 2024
“Fill the Bus” - ” We took on a Catie’s Closet’s initiative to fill backpacks with supplies kids need to be ready for school. Thanks to all the Bellas generosity and several Bellas helping hands, we were able to help many kids get off to a good start. Diane Mulligan did an awesome job organizing this for us - Thanks Di! We filled 54 backpacks earning us 3 Good Deed Hearts!
“Feed a Shift” - We are able to “Say Thank You” to those who keep us safe and put themselves in harm’s way for the greater good. We showed our appreciation by feeding a shift at the Hamilton, MA PD in honor of Gina Bertelli and are planning for the High Point, NC PD in honor of Charles Davis; they are two outstanding officers currently serving our communities. We will feed two shifts earning us 2 Good Deed Hearts!

Cards of Hope - June 2024
“Cards of Hope” by the Braid Mission focuses on the reality that many youth in foster care will never receive a birthday card; this program makes sure they know they are remembered and loved. We spent the month of June filling cards (some homemade) with special positive and uplifting handwritten messages. We sent 446 earning us 2 Good Deeds Hearts!
Abby’s House Spring-Tacular – May 2024
Nonprofit in Worcester, MA providing shelter/affordable housing, advocacy & support services, to homeless, battered, and low-income women. Several of us attended this wonderful fundraising event at Holy Cross College, tasting stations from local eateries and opportunities to hear stories of resilience and celebration that has impacted so many lives! We raised $780 earning us 3 Good Deeds Hearts!
Uncommon Threads – April 2024
Nonprofit in Lawrence, MA, helping low-income women see and feel their true potential by using clothing and image as tools for building self-esteem and self-worth; We spent the month of April collecting donations (of our own and/or from others); We donated 503 items earning us 3 Good Deeds Hearts and a Butterfly!
Yoga Reaches Out - April 2024
Steph Laurin rolled out her mat with 1,000+ participants at the WIN Waste Field House. This amazing day of yoga, community and inspiration supported children and families at Boston Children’s Hospital and around the world. Every dollar of donations goes to the Every Child Fund at Boston Children’s Hospital—fueling breakthrough research, family support programs, and vital services to help patients heal and thrive. We raised $1035 earning us 2 Good Deeds Heart!
Delta Gamma Sorority Service for Sight – April 2024
Delta Gamma’s spring philanthropy in support of Service for Sight. Contributions to support the blind and visually impaired community! We raised $290 earning us 1 Good Deeds Heart!
